KUANTAN 14 Mac: Suruhanjaya Hak Asasi Manusia Malaysia (Suhakam) menafikan badan itu bersikap antikerajaan dalam memperjuangkan hak masyarakat.

Pesuruhjaya Suhakam, Datuk N. Siva Subramaniam (gambar) menegaskan, sikap badan itu yang sering menegur kerajaan menyebabkan Suhakam sering dilihat seolah-olah antikerajaan.

Low voter registration in three federal territories PDF Print E-mail

PUTRAJAYA: The Election Commission has revealed that all three federal territories disappointingly recorded the lowest voter registration of citizens aged 21 and above.


At a press conference here yesterday, EC chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof said Putrajaya, until October last year, had the lowest with only 50 per cent of its 14,317 residents registered to vote.

KANGAR: The Regent of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail, urged civil servants to use social websites on the Internet wisely to avoid being trapped into revealing government secrets.

Tuanku Syed Faizuddin expressed concern that social networks like Facebook were the cause of such secrets being revealed unintentionally.
